In North Central Mexico there has been spectacular growth registered in the automotive and auto part industry.

By 2020, it is projected that North Central Mexico production will reach 5,000,000 cars and therefore $100,000 MDD in auto parts.

Mexican Molds, Dies and Tooling Industry (MDT) companies haven’t yet been able to generate strong designs that allow their clients to manufacture products with the quality, cost and time required. Because of this, Mexico currently imports more than $2,000 MDD of these types of products.

University design and investigation centers have some employees that are trained in CAD/CAM systems and simulation, but they lack sufficient experience.
